Foxfire Magic

She wasn’t just a mage - she lived magic.

She breathed it with every breath, soaked it through her pores, had it sunk into her bones. 

She remembered the first time she discovered that not only could she see  the way life pulsed and flowed around her, but she could use it as well. With a little concentration and experimentation, she found  that it was possible to shape the world around her into faerietale visions to match those in her dreams. 

Even after her brother tried to steal that magic from her, and broke her hands and crushed her dreams, she held the magic close to her heart, and kept fighting through pain and constraint for the one thing in the world she truly loved.
